Lisa Farron

Lisa started her career in tourism nearly 12 years ago booking hotels in a call centre for the London Tourist Board (now VisitLondon). This initial grounding enabled her to develop an in-depth knowledge of the London hotel market. Since then she has worked on a variety of projects helping hotels to improve the quality of their accommodation offer. Lisa feels very passionately that small hotel businesses in London need help and support to be able to compete with the influx of branded accommodation into the market and to fill a very real consumer demand. Latterly Lisa has been working on improving website functionality and design to deliver powerful online booking solutions across a range of products. Her particular speciality is hotel booking systems.

Clara Estella

Clara has more than 6 years experience working in both tourism and marketing. After completing a degree in Marketing and Tourism Clara started her career in the customer services department of a marketing company specialising in tourism. During her time in customer services Clara became passionate about the importance of customer service underpinning every aspect of a successful business. After 2 years Clara moved to the marketing department where she was responsible for developing and managing Google AdWords campaigns as well as creating and delivering a range of marketing strategies. Clara brings her expertise to bear on both evaluating and advising on online and offline marketing strategies as well as providing training on managing effective Google campaigns. Having worked with both large and small hotels within London Clara has a wealth of insight and knowledge which can contribute to more effective marketing and improved return on investment.

Claire Burbidge

Claire has worked in tourism for the past 10 years and has been involved in both marketing and customer service roles. Claire has experience in buying advertising in print media, designing adverts and preparing them for print. She has worked extensively in the online marketing arena becoming an expert in search engine strategies for both organic searches and paid for advertising. Claire is particularly skilled in developing opportunities for small businesses to be strategic and effective with their marketing budgets. In the past 3 years Claire has also developed a passion for customer service delivery. She has been involved in developing training packages and putting together strategies to ensure that customer service is always developing ahead of customer expectations.
