Leadership training
The Ambassadors Hotel
The Ambassadors Hotel is a stylish, contemporary hotel in Central London located close to Euston and King’s Cross St Pancras train stations. The hotel had recently completed a refurbishment programme which took the hotel from a 3 star to 4 star standard. The hotel wanted to be sure that the level of service offered to customers matched the improved quality of the hotel and was keen to invest in training.
t4 partnership spent time talking to the hotel management to establish the type of training that would meet the needs and put together a bespoke training course that was delivered in two afternoon sessions.
Christophe Belaubre, Operations Manager said ‘I found the training sessions with t4 partnership to be both informative and interesting. The use of practical assignments in with the theory was excellent. This made for easier understanding for the entire group, and also encouraged a higher participation level throughout the course. The team learnt a lot both collectively and on an individual basis, and each person left taking a new approach to their work with them. A thoroughly enjoyable experience all round.’
Customer Service training
The Penn Club
The Penn Club operates as a small hotel in Bloomsbury, close to the British Museum. The hotel has 45 bedrooms and is a friendly, relaxed place to stay with many guests being regular customers. The management at the Penn Club were keen to provide Customer Service Training for their staff in order to formalise some procedures and ensure that a professional service is offered at all times.
t4 met with the Penn Club to discuss their requirements and tailored the Customer Service modules to include the procedures and policies at the hotel.
Pepe Prette, Assistant Manager said ‘The training course with t4 partnership was extremely useful for all our front office staff. The way that the course was adapted to our requirements was particularly valuable. Each team member was able to take away practical actions that they could use to improve their performance on a daily basis’
The Goodenough Club
The Goodenough Club is a 4 star hotel located in a quiet garden square in Bloomsbury. All guests are welcome at the Club but in particular those from academia and the not-for-profit sector. The Club is part of the educational charity, Goodenough College. The Club and the College both employ staff in a front line role, welcoming guests and visitors and dealing with enquiries. The Goodenough Club was keen to raise the customer service provision to the next level and offer formal training to all their staff.
t4 partnership discussed the requirements of the training course with the Goodenough Club to establish which modules would be the most useful and how best to adapt the course to fit the Club’s requirements. In particular t4 partnership was able to ensure that the specific customer service standards for the Club were incorporated into the course.
Vikki Smith, General Manager, said: ‘Informative and motivational, the feedback from our team as a result of your customer service course was outstanding. Of particular benefit was the fact the course was tailored towards us and issues we were having with our team. I would recommend t4 partnership to all of my colleagues’
Search Engine Marketing
The Harlingford Hotel
The Harlingford Hotel is an independent, family run, 43 bedroom hotel in Bloomsbury, which has beautifully designed bedrooms and offers an exceptional level of customer service.
The majority of guests at the hotel have either stayed before or were recommended to stay by a previous guest. This means that the hotel does not need to invest a lot of money in marketing but is keen to get the most out of any marketing spend.
Google AdWords might seem daunting at first but it is the ideal marketing tool for a small business. t4 partnership met with the Harlingford to explain Google AdWords and how to set up and manage a campaign and before long they were confidently operating successful campaigns.
Philip Moore, General Manager said ‘We were unsure at first, but when we were walked through the training programme we were amazed by how simple it all was and then the results started coming in and we haven't looked back since. Bookings have taken us to our best year yet.’
