There are a number of different areas that will be discussed and evaluated and the recommendations will be based on various factors such as the target market and the business objectives.
The review will include some or all of the following as required:
• Meeting to discuss current marketing activity and business objectives
• Review and report on current online presence which includes looking at listings of the hotel on other websites and the success of the hotels own website in search engines
• A ‘light’ audit of the website with recommendations (a more detailed audit can be paid for separately)
• Review in-bound links and competitor analysis
• Consider current email correspondence with previous and current customers
Once the review has been completed we can put together a suggested plan which could include the following:
• Improvements to current website or suggestion of a new website
• Changes that can be made to online presence on other websites
• A link building strategy
• Customer relationship management strategy to make better use of customer data
• Plan to more widely promote the hotel and website through the use of articles and PR
• Consider the setting up or evaluation of Google AdWords campaigns
The findings will be presented in a report and then followed up with a face to face meeting.
After this stage has been completed you will have a clear plan which you can choose to follow yourself or we can implement the recommendations for you. Your marketing budget will go much further and be more effective with a strategic plan in place.
